Lemon Cheesy Bars

Fresh lemony taste. Makes 24-36 bars.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 pkg. lemon frosting
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 2 eggs

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Mix with fork until moist. Pat into 13x9 inch pan greased on bottom only.

Blend frosting mix into cream cheese. Reserve 1/2 cup of frosting mixture. Add 2 eggs to the remaining frosting mixture. Beat 3-5 minutes. Spread over cake mixture.

Bake 30-40 minutes. Cool; spread with reserved frosting mixture. Cut into bars.
