Easy Butterscotch Chip Chocolate Cookies

These are incredibly fast and easy because they use a cake mix! Very moist and very popular. Makes 42 cookies.
A note about cookies:
if they are done on top, but black on the bottom, you have a bad cookie sheet. Try an insulated one or a baking stone.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (18.25 oz.) chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups butterscotch morsels
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. In large bowl combine cake mix, oil and eggs. Stir well. Stir in morsels and pecans.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
