Milk Punch

Comments:
Very tasty, an alcohol shake; a fabulous Cousin Ann recipe. Makes 1-1/2 gallons.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 gallon milk
  • 2 cups Bourbon, chilled
  • 1 bottle (16.9 oz.) Creme de Cacao
  • 1/2 to 1 gallon vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Boil 5 minutes to make a simple syrup. Set aside to cool. Mix milk, bourbon, and cacao in a chilled punch bowl; stir in syrup. Add 1/2 gallon ice cream and refrigerate until time to serve. If too thin, add more ice cream.
